Komal Faiz has experience is a design researcher and a strategic innovator. She is a member of Design Research Society and has been nominated as a global shaper by the World Economic Forum (WEF). She has a Masters in Strategic Foresight & Innovation from OCAD University, Canada and a Bachelors in Visual Communication design. She provides consulting in 3 key areas: program design research, Impact evaluation, and participatory/research workshops. She has worked at the Canadian Ministry of Children and Youth Services, MaRS Discovery District, University of Toronto, and OCAD University in Canada.
Komal believes in bridging the gaps between social and commercial and therefore upholds the ideals of interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral approach. Her most recent design research project is on Women's Mobility in collaboration with Coventry University, UK and University of Malaya, Malaysia.
